Dr. Barbara Fredrickson, a professor in the Social Psychology Program at UNC Chapel Hill, released her second book, Love 2.0 in 2013.

Her new book offers a fresh and practical perspective on positive emotions. Using research from her lab, Dr. Fredrickson redefines love not as a stable behemoth, but as mirco-moments of connection between people – even strangers. She demonstrates that our capacity for experience love can be measured and strengthened in ways that improve our health and longevity. Watch a YouTube video of Dr. Fredrickson discussing her latest book and how our supreme emotions affect how we feel, think, do, and become.
