Dr. Kurt Gray, an Assistant Professor in Social Psychology, was awarded a grant from the University of California Riverside, sponsored in part of the John Templeton Foundation.

The Immortality Project at the University of California Riverside awarded grants totaling $2.4 million to research proposals that examined a wide range of issues related to immortality.

Dr. Gray was funded for his project, “The Immortality of Morality,” which examines the psychological factors that dispose human beings to perceive immortality and the real-world consequences of the link between morality and immortality.
