Heidi Vuletich, a graduate student in Developmental and Social Psychology, is one of 77 finalists for the Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans. Only 5% of the applicants were selected as finalists!

The Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans supports immigrants or the children of immigrants who are pursuing graduate school in the United States. Each fellowship supports up to two years of graduate study and is merit based. This fellowship program emphasizes creativity, originality, initiative, and sustained accomplishment and seeks the most promising New Americans who will go on to make distinctive contributions to American society, culture, or their field.

Heidi will fly to Los Angeles at the end of January to complete the interview stage of the selection process. Congratulations, Heidi – and good luck!
