Carrie Adair, a graduate student in Social Psychology, is the recipient of a 2013 Mind and Life 1440 Award.

The Mind and Life Institute, through a partnership with the 1440 Foundation, awards the 1440 Awards to young investigators who promote research that evaluates contemplative practice and its ability to promote inner well-being and healthy relationships in a variety of settings, with a particular interest in evaluating the application of contemplative practices in educational contexts.

Carrie Adair was awarded for her project, “Mindfulness in Interpersonal Judgments and Relationships in Daily Life,” and received the grant to support her dissertation research.
