Dr. Kurt Gray, an Associate Professor of Social Psychology, is the recipient of a 2018 National Science Foundation Grant.

The National Science Foundation is an independent federal agency created by Congress in 1950 “to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; to secure the national defense…” The National Science Foundation funds research and education in most fields of science and engineering.

Dr. Gray received a total award of over $403,000 (over three years) for his project, “Rationality of Harm Avoidance and Political Tolerance.”
