Heidi Vuletich, a graduate student in the Developmental and Social Psychology Programs, is a recipient of the 2019-2020 P.E.O. Scholar Award.

The P.E.O. Scholar awards are one-time, competitive, merit-based awards intended to recognize and encourage academic excellence and achievement by women in doctoral-level programs. The P.E.O. Scholar Awards Program was established in 1991 to provide substantial merit-based awards for women of the United States and Canada who are pursuing a doctoral level degree at an accredited college or university. P.E.O. Scholars have demonstrated their ability to make significant contributions in their chosen field of study, having assumed leadership positions in university academics, scientific research, medicine, law, performing arts, international economics, history, literature, government and other demanding fields.

Heidi will receive a $15,000 award to support her study and research. She was one of 150 women out of 945 nominees to receive this prestigious award. Heidi was selected for her scholarly excellence, academic achievement, and worthy career goals and her ability to make a significant contribution to her field. Congratulations, Heidi!
