Dr. Keely Muscatell, an Assistant Professor of Social Psychology, is the inaugural recipient of the Ann Rankin Cowan Excellence Award for High-Impact Research in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience.
The aim of the $20,000 Ann Rankin Cowan Excellence Award is to provide a faculty member with seed funding to launch the innovative and meaningful early-stage research necessary to apply for external funding, thereby supporting research that can ultimately translate into clinical applications and therapeutic treatments for society. This award is made possible through the generous support of Ann Rankin Cowan (Psychology ’75).
Dr. Muscatell was chosen as the inaugural recipient for her compelling work at the intersection of social neuroscience and health, which has tremendous potential for original and high impact contributions to the field of psychology and neuroscience. Congratulations, Dr. Muscatell!
