Samantha Abrams, an incoming graduate student in Social Psychology, recently received a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Award.

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship recognizes outstanding graduate students in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. NSF fellows receive three years of support from the agency and international research and professional development opportunities.

Samantha was selected for this prestigious fellowship to pursue her project titled, “Developing a “Scaffolded Model” of Scientific Understanding: Information about Genes is Filtered through Intuitive Supernatural Beliefs.”
