Dr. Paschal Sheeran, Professor of Social Psychology, is the recipient of a 2021 National Cancer Institute R01 grant.
The Research Project Grant (R01) is the original and historically oldest grant mechanism used by National Institutes of Health (NIH). The R01 provides support for health-related research and development based on the mission of the NIH.
Dr. Sheeran received a total award of over $960,000 (over three years) for his project, “State-of-the-Art Synthesis of Interventions to Promote Quit Intentions and Smoking Cessation.”
