Manny Galvan received the 2023 Christopher R. Agnew Research Innovation Award, which was chosen by faculty and recognizes an innovative research program that integrates research on racial and economic inequality with research on health, decision-making, self-perception, policy preferences, and beliefs about success and deservingness. This work, in combination with their public-facing science outreach work, demonstrates their independence and impact.
